What is the reasons for sticking the roller to the double roller press granulator?

        1. The moisture of raw materials themselves: Dry granulation is adopted for double roller press granulator. There is no need to add water when granulating, and there is no need to dry the particles after granulating, which greatly reduces the cost of drying. However, if the raw material itself contains water and the content of free water is high, without drying the premise, directly on the double roller press granulator, it will be easy to appear the phenomenon of sticky roll, resulting in a lower discharge rate of finished particles. Therefore, it is recommended to use dry materials. If it is wet, it is also necessary to equip with a fertilizer dryer.
      2. Mold adjustment: The material is added from the top of the opposite double roller press granulator, enters the machine, extrudes through the mold shell above the 2 rolls, and is compressed into a flat ball, shaped like an apricot kernel. After detaching from the molds, them will be broken into loose pellets from the lower part of the double roller press granulator and discharged out of the machine. During the use of the double roller press granulator, or after the replacement of the mold, the mold state may change. After the change, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of sticking sticks or granules. At this time, the problem can be solved by checking whether the mold gap is between 0.5-1mm, and whether the pits of the two sticks are symmetrical.
      3. Mold smoothness: In the production of the roll die, the smoothness of the die surface will directly affect the detaching mold effect of the material. If the material is not good, or the surface has not been professionally polished and ground, it is also one of the reasons for the sticking the roller. The problem can be solved by polishing or grinding the pit.
